If we don't drop this 'Clemson offense' crap and scheme to our talent we'll lose yet again. The need to always add some stupid substitution in the middle of a drive and suck the life out of the team needs to stop. That ain't Riley for sure. He'll be the fall guy like Streeter and we'll keep all the developmental assistants. wash, rinse, repeat.
I wish we had some TAMU oil money in hand.

Also, since 2025 is what represents the ‘Clemson offense,’ our coaches should want this turd buried deep.
We need coaches who have them expertise to build an offense around the skills of the offense. It should be obvious to everyone by now (including those like me who kept looking for sunshine in an Artic winter) that Clemson name / Dabo no longer has the cache to successfully recruit top talent that can be fit into the Dabo ‘Clemson offense’ template.
Magnificence in recruiting had for years enabled us to excel while led by OK X’s and O’s coaches. Re ruining excellence was more important for our sssistant coaches than was coaching ability.
Those days are over. Can / will Dabo make that philosophical adjustment?
Darn sure hope so!

It wasn’t the play calling, dropped passes and missed assignments in the offense and the defense didn’t do squat.

It wasn't enough to say he's the guy in 2026, but it was enough to give him another chance to build upon it. That's what is best for Clemson. Starting Cade is only best for Cade.

We lost because the defense sucked and couldn’t get stops. The offense battled back from the defensive lapses all night. But the defense couldn’t get a stop.
That’s the only story of the game.
