Essentially based on recruiting rankings vs performance. Of course Bama and UGA “look” like the best teams because the recruit the best. Uga especially looks good because their schedule is trash. Btw struggled with the capons and no one ever brings that up. Similarly, Bama lost to TX at home and #### near lost to USF.

If FSU goes undefeated, wins the ACC, they should be in even if they had no qb, the TEAM has earned it. If UGA loses to Bama, they haven’t earned it and should be out. You are then left with the debate of TX and Bama and h2h should mean TX has earned it. Performance has to matter or it’s just a beauty pageant.

Yep. If Texas wins and Bama wins GA and Bama should be out and Texas in. Assuming Michigan wins.

This is correct. You should not judge a team, or anything for that matter on hypotheticals or "what ifs", instead you must judge the actions themselves and the fact is, Florida states actions have led them to an undefeated season thus far. Personally , I think there is a good chance they lose today but if they win, there should be no question as to their spot in the playoff

Once you start judging teams on imaginary criteria that cannot be measured or quantified, you are inviting in trouble bc while you may get the benefit of it today, who's to say you won't be the next one screwed by it tomorrow?
