way of doing things by recruiting high school talent and developing it. Better QB and offensive line play.
More guys will get opportunities to sign and be developed. More diamonds in the rough, which Dabo and staff have proven they are good at finding.

The power brokers of college football are protecting their investment in the SEC and BIG and want to guarantee returns on investment.
The gap between the haves and have-nots will only widen.

Saban and Smart are outstanding coaches and the state of Georgia, with it's large number of college football players is possibly the best job in the country. Neither won the national championship last year.
Saban is gone and it will be interesting to see how long Kirby can maintain the pace.

.... to start asking coaches across the country how they plan to go from 85 to 105 next year.
Most schools will probably have 45+ scholarships to give next year. Many schools will probably have 50-60 scholarships available when you consider those who leave with eligibility left for the NFL and those who just hit the portal.
1. Are they still limited to 25 HS ships?
2. Are they just gonna sign current walk-ons to ships.
3. Are they gonna get 20+ guys from the portal?
4. Are they gonna recruit kids and tell them they are "scout team recruits"?
I would love to hear speculation from folks on how Dabo and Kirby and Norvell and Deboar and everyone else is gonna handle it.
You think the portal has been the wild west so far, wait till December.
