Absolutely. Probably would have been one of the best bowl games.

I don’t understand why you would quit for this game if you play for UNC. It’s a traditional bowl game and would have a large audience

presumably a good performance could help draft stock. Some of these kids aren't seeing their own big picture.

As a Heel fan I'm absolutely disgusted with why so many players quit. I guess its just me but the orange bowl is a big freaking deal when you haven't played in a bowl of that significance in decades. I'm thoroughly convinced we could've beat A&M and give the ACC some credit from somebody other than Clemson. I'm not even watching because it must not mean much to them so why waste the time.

I feel the same way. Totally disgusted. We have sucked forever and this bowl is a big deal for our program and those guys quit. I’m sure Texas A &M is better than us regardless but I sure would love to see those 3 offensive playmakers in the game.

I'm not sure A&M was better. All the fire power missing and it still being a game really sucks. With those guys tge Heels had a super shot at winning but we'll never know. This screws the ACC conference just not the school and teammates.

And there you go - if the players don’t care why in the world would the fans. This was always the expected result of the 4 team playoff. To the point where traditional conference affiliations with major bowls aren’t enough to pique the interest of the modern player. It kind of makes all those great trophies meaningless back in the multi million football buildings.
