Thin at TE

With Galloway having to sit out, and William's choosing to go to the Army, who do you think we might move to TE?
Possibly someone who was recruited as a DE?
Thanks in advance,

Considering our TEs have like 10 combined touches over the past 2 seasons, maybe just give your most athletic offensive lineman an 80 number, and let it ride.

for blocking yes. in long yardage run one of the larger wide outs from that position and mess with the D's coverage

Better hope Jaelyn Lay is ready to play. He has the potential, much like Leggett, but he’s raw. JC Chalk will have to step up at H-Back. Davis Allen will also have a big role. Maybe we’ll just move to more 4-wide receiver sets

It will be extremely difficult for a true freshman to get meaningful reps at TE. JC will surprise people this year. He is extremely talented, just needs to step up this spring.

When trolling, you are safer to use general terms instead of being wrong about details.
Stating that Williams is going to the military would have been a better option than guessing the wrong branch.
Also, I would guess most Clemson fans would have said "if" Galloway has to sit out. Or possibly referenced his pending appeal.
That is a smaller detail but shows your goal for the post.
Yes Clemson is thin at TE based on our currently available players and their experience.
I don't want to be thin at any position but if you made me pick one, then TE is my first choice with very little doubt.

I predict an O-lineman will change positions

just to give us another big, nasty, short-yardage blocker.
This is about as bleak I've seen a position since I've been following Clemson football. Except maybe QB last year lol. Thank God Trevor only missed the Cuse game! Otherwise it would have been Brice, a short guy whose position was bounced around and that's IT. I'm really excited about getting Taisun in. He adds depth and becomes the coolest name on the roster.

Or move Spiers from punter to TE and just go for it every time on 4th down. A win-win for sure.
