Yeah, some people have to waste 2 hours of their day getting to and from work. Maybe more..

That helps for sure.

I also don't have coworkers distracting me by interrupting me or loud conversations occurring everywhere. I can take more focused breaks at home that are also productive.

It helps I have a dedicated office and work space at the house, if I'm in there, I'm working.

go do whatcha want. Fish, golf, chase the wife around, what have ya. When I go into the office, it wastes a shid load of time to meet with people ,who are never on time, about things that could’ve been put in an email.

I had a corporate meeting a couple of months ago about this exact thing. Some managers were worried their remotes weren’t working as hard. I told them in no uncertain terms, if their performance hasn’t dropped off, leave it alone. And if they’d put their time in working instead of trying catch their remotes slacking, their own numbers would be better.

It'd have to be a pretty big increase in pay for me to go back to an office.

I haven't worked full time in an office since 2013. Going into work that can be done remotely is such a waste of time.

Depending on what I need to do, I can definitely be more productive at home, especially if I need to work late to hit a deadline.

Depends so much on the type of work...but...

I think there is sometimes too much focus on what the individual's productivity is versus the team's productivity. Again, depending on the nature of the work, there can be a lot of value in face-to-face interaction.

I hear a lot of folks say things like "I can get so much more done at home without people bothering me". Yeah...but these people might actually need you for these things or interaction.

And one of the biggest issues is things can come across so differently in an e-mail/chat vs in-person. We solve so many interpersonal issues by just putting the parties in front of each other face-to-face.

tldr - I'm an old fart that still values in-person dealings

can usually be tackled in a 1-2 hour face to face meeting most of the time. People are more engaged in the conversation so potential problems are identified much faster.
