So...Mee-she-gin responded to the Big10's allegation notice...

of scouting and sign stealing by basically telling the Big10 commissioner that he shouldn't rush to judgment or impose any punishment until the matter has been fully and thoroughly investigated. In other words, don't do anything this season that could potentially jeopardize the possibility of Mee-she-gin making the CFP.
Mee-she-gin also suggested that in-person scouting and other collusion to steal signals is more prevalent than previously known as if to imply that others are doing it too and not being investigated/punished, so why punish Mee-she-gin?

They're simply deflecting and trying to minimize the significance of their illicit practices. No evidence has been provided to even remotely suggest that other schools are doing it too.

their arms with Rumbas....Pulled up their hoods, filled their arms and headed to the exit. My friend yelled at the cashier that the two guys were about to run out the door and steal the stuff. She said,"Yep, an employee saw that happening last week and ran and tackled the thief. Home Depot fired him. What they are saying is "Be warned, and be careful. Other teams are doing this, they will get exposed, and then you will have to quickly impose the same penalties on all of them that you are threatening us with".
Which is honestly a pretty good defense strategy. The BIG10 could be setting a dangerous precedent.
