thanks to the bourbon lobby. Nope, they went further. NEVER let a crisis go to waste. Seems the GOP is taking Hillary's advice to heart.

When folks say, "You'll regret that in the morning", I just sleep until noon, because I'm a problem solver.

I would agree with this provision if the $500k had to come

If signed warrant then legal. What are politicians above the law?***

What law did the signee of the warrant break at the time?

He/she wasn’t above in 2022. But since retroactive makes nice lawfare and grift for the $hits in lower.

Its more like Trump giving a $500k holiday bonus to select magats.

By select you really mean spied on by the govt.***

In America we call that an investigation.***

They still have a $18m taxpayer slush fund to pay off civil suits.

Especially if it doesn't apply to all Americans (why the special rules for politicians, and even then, why the specific rule for Senators only)?

An argument could be had as to whether anyone under investigation should be notified when their records are retrieved via warrant. I'm sure there are valid arguments for and against such. But to suggest that Senators should receive some form of special handling is ludicrous and you know it.

Moreover making any penalty retroactive is patently stupid.

That's what happens when your party is built around grifting as its main tenet

I love that many of the republicans in the House are only upset because they weren't included in the grift.
