While I get where you’re coming from, I don’t know just how good Ga will be either. That’s why we play the games. I think it all boils down to our OL. If that’s fixed, Cade should have the time, along with the added talent receiving and rushing, we may be as good as anybody. If it’s not fixed, then it’s same ol’, same ol’.

Did you read the article? The article says that we have been lacking on defense, and if that were a media broadcast I’d be turning my T.V. off right about then. I for one know that the defense is loaded! Also, CK will improve through his summer camps. I’m not at all worried about Georgia because I know that Clemson can beat them. The media pundits want UGA to win so that they can boast about being right. However, I know that Clemson is loaded with talent this year. Good luck to Georgia! Go Tigers!

I agree. It all depends on if the offense can put it together early.

I don't see Georgia scoring more than 20 against us.

I would add that Wes has some fast backers to blitz from all over the place. I think we can make Beck uncomfortable.

Yea. I’ve been saying all along the first team to 20 wins this game. I wouldn’t be surprised by another 10-3 game. Maybe this time we get the pick six.

1. Clemson's Defense is young but with great talent -- far from lacking. UGA returns 8 starters on Offense. 2. Clemson's Offense is not respected. Perhaps Game 1 will bring some unsuspected game plan balance and aggression from Tiger O.
This game will be a battle. Tigers have a chance to rewrite the college football dialogue for 2024. Bring it Dawgs.

CK hasn't improved in any previous offseason or summer. So i don't see any reason to believe this year will be different...
As far as I can tell, he also hasn't changed his physical attributes. Pretty much the same size again.
Where is this dude in Power Hour?

I think that the last time I saw our Tigers being the underdog with a point spread that big was in the 2018 national championship game, how did that turn out for Clemson playing against the best Bama offensive team in their history of playing college FB.
Alabama -11.5 vs. Clemson. That game turned out being a Clemson 44-16 crushing over Bama, and please don't forget that everything leading up to that game a week prior was, Clemson would be playing against best Bama offensive team in their history of college FB.
Clemson will have what some will say one of the best defenses in the country, and personally I believe the talent is on that side of the ball that they could be a very stout defense going against UGA and a first year starting QB. UGA is as talented as any team in the country and a 1st year starting QB will be good enough to lead their offense, but will his experience level be enough to overtake our defense through the game. I say that our defense will be equally matched with their offense with the exception of the experience a 1st year starting QB, I don't in anyway see UGA beating us the way that Bama was supposed to have beat us and they lost the game, and the same could happen to UGA in Atlanta...
Another thing we shouldn't overlook, none of us have ever seen Cade Klubnik perform at the college level with the WR, TE receiving talent that he will have out in front of him this coming season, plus he will have his ability to use his legs added to what should be a pretty stout back field with Mafah as our leading RB. Also, let's not forget we should have an improved Matt Luke OL that I believe should be a little better than last season's lead OL until he has time to bring in his type of O lineman with the type of talent he loves to work with.
I'm not counting our team bc of some silly point spread that people put out there that has never played a down of college FB. We've overcome their silliness many times before, and we will be capable of doing it again in Atlanta on Aug. 31st!!!

I'd say those lines are about right except for FSU. I'd say Clemson-7 against FSU. They absolutely lost a ton of players.

Yes but, let's not forget there were an awful lot of Tiger fans believing that Bama would win the 2018 NCG mainly bc of the hype of Bama having their best offense in the history of the Bama FB program.
No, I'm not trying to undermine the UGA team and all the talent they have across the board, but I'm not going to undermine our Tigers either with all the improved talent that our Tigers will have this coming season on the offensive side of the ball going into next season with Matt Luke leading our Oline, and Garrett having the offensive pieces that he can win games with. We should be able to play with UGA with a chance to beat them, but we can't have any turnovers that has lost many games for many good teams including our Tigers...

I dont have a problem with the line although

it is assuming UGA doesn’t take any step back with the big pieces they lost. It’s possible they haven’t with the level of recruiting they have had. However, his reasoning is idiotic. This DLine is every bit as talented as those others. It’s even deeper IMO at DT. We’ve had 6 DL taken in the last 2 drafts and we are still loaded with NFL draft picks. It’s a dumb take - one if the dumbest I’ve seen in a while. The question is can our O be consistent enough against a great D to put up enough points. They have to not put our D on the field or in position with turnovers or ST blunders that allow UGA to have a short field and put up points against our D that should count against the O. Like happened often last year. Even with that occurring, we still had one of the best Ds statistically and will continue to do so this year.

I've said several times, No Tiger Fan has seen Cade Klubnik play a game of college football with the type of talent that he will have in front of him this coming season. I've always heard that a good receiving core can make a QB, and vice versa. I hope that comes true with our Cade and our receivers in 2024!!!

We, them, or they saw everything mixed up from the cabinets to see what it looked like at the end of the day, and it looked exactly the way that Dabo wanted to betray it to look for all of our opponents to see. A job well done coaches!!!

Sadly… I don’t think 13.5 is nearly enough. I just don’t have it in me to bet against our Tigers but if I could I’d take Georgia and bet the house.
It’s not going to be pretty.

UGA has been a juggernaut recently, and we have not. But both teams have reasons for pessimism and optimism.
If Luke can whip the OL into shape, we have a chance. If you go back and watch the UK bowl game, UK harassed Klubnik by rushing 4 or more most of the game, which gave Klubnik little time and made him ineffective. But for some reason, at the end of the game, they only rushed 3 in a prevent-defense, thereby giving Klubnik time. He responded by picking them apart.
I know that people are down on Klubnik, but if he gets time in the pocket and a quiver of healthy receiving weapons, I think we'll see a much improved QB in year-2 of Riley's system. I could be wrong. We'll see.

This is not disrespectful concerning the line with Georgia. We have to prove that our offensive line is better than last season and also prove that we have a downfield passing threat.
