But Clemson should beat the pants off of BC. I don't get why losing a close game to FSU would make people think we're not any good.

It's not that it is a couple of factors

1) Big emotional loss in a huge national TV game
2) history of Clemson at BC
3) BC has open date to prepare and Clemson has been circled
4) BC wanting to get Atlatic Division win
All of these make this game so dangerous. WE have to stand up and play like fire from the start!

looking past or overlooking weaker foes has been a recurring theme over the past several seasons.
Also that was not a "close" game. FSU throttled back and we got a garbage TD in the end. That was a 3 score game. Anyone who watched it feels that Clemson got soundly beaten.
People think we are not any good because FSU finally did what other teams didn't do against us, they turned yards into points. We have been physically whipped on defense by every team we've played. BC is known for their O-line and this is a classic letdown game after all the hype for last week.
I will be impressed if we can go up there and handle BC like we should. As far as the rest of the season goes, that defense is going to have to improve or we will lose 2 more games easily.

we'll be on upset watch every single week. BC has the #1 offensive player in the ACC in Chase Rettig. He will stand in the pocket and shred our sorry defense because we have no pass rush and no pass coverage skills.

Heather Dinnich is back to her usual ways after being a Clemson fan for the last week. Now we are back on upset watch every week until South Carolina, then we will probably lose 84-0 according to her.

I think it is so disappointing to hear a so called ACC Blogger use the term "Pulling a Clemson". It is a disservice to Clemson, a slight to the ACC and anyone who is in the ACC, especially an ESPN blogger for the ACC, should have more class than to use the term. I have seen her use it before to get a laugh, pretty sad if you ask me. I'm ALL IN for Clemson but you will never hear me downgrading another team in the ACC.
