If you received an email from Brian O’Rourke pertaining to “Tiger Stories” and a request to help Clemson update their alumni data, here is what it is:
1. Quick check of contact info, grad year, major.
2. Ask you to share your favorite
Clemson experiences.
3. HARD SELL TO GET YOU TO PAY $500 to have your story appear in the “Tiger Stories” book.
I asked where the proceeds from such book sales will go. The gentleman had NO ANSWER.
We’re Clemson, we are better than this disingenuous intentionally manipulative practice that prays on the good will of alumni.
I guess I am naive.

I have met Mr O'Rourke many times and he is definitely out for money - that is his job, but this is ridiculous imo.
