Well. Start your skepticism that his brother was probably one of the best players to ever play at USuC. Add in they grew up in GA. I’m sure theres been a fair amount of Clemson hate in the household growing up. Then consider Shannon was known as a player for shooting first, then asking questions. Thats why he has this gig at Fox.
I’m sure Dabo isnt losing any sleep over Shannon sharp. He is listening to his current and former players of color. That is what is important.

I think it goes back to the coot brother or maybe not being recruited by Clemson years ago. Dabo is a convenient foil due to his success and the Sharpe isn't very good at tv. He needs stuff to stir up to appear relevant. He rates a big ignore from me on everything

The answer to why Shannon Sharpe is blasting Dabo is really simple........... he's a Gamecock. As a Gamecock, Gamecock nation would be all over him for anything less than what he is dishing out. They have to be loving it. No logic needed, just plain hatred for everything Clemson Football. It also helps that he is a professional opinion maker and when people are talking about your opinion, it doesn't matter if it's positive or negative. Finebaum is in seventh heaven doing the same thing.

The thing is with people like that, who have already made their minds up about someone, will never change their opinion. It doesn’t matter what dabo does or what dabo says, sharpe is going to be completely irrational and closed minded about it and find ways to punch holes. It’s a no win situation for dabo, unfortunately. It’s a shame too, because he’s doing and saying some pretty incredible things that come from the heart, which is filled and lead by the Holy Spirit.
2 Timothy 3:12 “and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.”
And what Jesus said about persecution in Matthew 5:12 “be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in this same way.”
Not only the ancient prophets were persecuted for being godly people, but pretty much every apostle and centralized figure of the Bible was persecuted also. Now I’m not saying dabo is one of these people, just saying that there’s a major connection to godly people being persecuted by the outside world for things they can’t control. It’s all throughout the Bible.
Dabo knows this and I’m sure he’s really pressing into the Word of God right now and using the Lord for shelter. Just another thing that makes Jesus awesome.

that it is personal. That has happened with Sharp and Finebaum. Dont they not see its obvious that they have a personal agenda. When every single former player comes out and praises Dabo and they still don't let up, then they have an agenda.
Now Finebaum did realize very quickly (the next day) that his rejection of Dabo's statement was blatant obvious personal agenda. He quickly tried to walk it back, but too little too late. He is so butthurt about 44-16 that he let it become personal in the winter and spring of 2019 and since. You better believe Dabo knnows it. Finebaum will never have an interview or any acknowledgement of Finebaum ever again.
Finebaum was at his most complimentary of Clemson after we lost the title game in Glendale. He praised the program, the fans that he travelled with, etc. You see, he expected Clemson to be this program that gave a cute try at beating Bama in a title game and that's the way it was supposed to stay. When Clemson beat Bama in two title games after that, it was too much for him to take. Heck, we weren't even supposed to enjoy our own ring opening at our spring game without being sensitive to Bama's feelings.
As for Sharp, didn't his brother play for Soouth Carolina? That might be the whole root of it, but not sure if that is the case. Sharp is very obvously grinding an axe, but it is so obvious that it doesn't bother me. Testimony from our own players is much more proof than any soundbites, not matter how numerous, fomr this idiot.

It’s a deep hatred for Clemson. My wife used to work with Sterling’s wife, so I had the opportunity to spend a good bit of time around her, and a few of those times included Sterling (God’s gift to whatever crowd he is forced to be in). They made no bones about their hatred for Clemson, and they are very close to Shannon according to their own stories. In my mind, Shannon long ago adopted their hatred as his own.

Funny how the guy with multiple past charges of sexual assault and battery of women, feels justified to vilify Dabo, and is not willing to listen to or accept Dabo's response to these issue. What have you done to support the movement Shannon?

Hey Shannon Sharpe wasn't wrong, the problem isn't Shannon Sharpe.
I'm an African-American, Coastal Elite, Coastal Fool, former Marine Sgt, Vietnam veteran, USC [Columbia] grad, retired FED [Retired at 55 for those in Fly-Over America].

When black recruits hear All Lives Matter, Blue Lives Matter, Football Matters they hear racism.
Of course Dabo isn't racist. If I had a grandson, I would want him to play for Dabo.
Have you seen some of the things said about Clemson on Tigernet type sites by other Power 5 schools?
Years ago I pointed out a specific video on a University of Michigan site.
These sites will not allow the "FOOTBALL MATTERS" die. They will let all black recruits who they want to attend their schools to know that "FOOTBALL MATTERS" is real.
Okay let me try and explain where Shannon is coming from and why it will be a problem for Clemson.
Black Lives Matter [Period, nothing else needs to be said, if you go pass those 3 words most blacks will take it as being racist & insensitive].
All Lives Matter means unarmed Asian Americans are being murdered by police. You can insert Jewish, Italian, German or Chinese Americans in the statement.
White Lives Matters means unarmed White Americans are being murdered by police.
Blue Lives Matter means unarmed Police Officers are being murdered by police.
Thus, "FOOTBALL MATTERS" means unarmed "FOOTBALLS" are being murdered by police. Nothing matters but football.
I would never ever never wear a T-Shirt with Nazi symbols. Why?
Unlike Shannon, I would accept an apology & move on.
But the key to what Shannon is saying, by wearing such a t-shirt Dabo is telling him who he is & Shannon believes him.

Most of the time I’m not a Swinney defender either. It doesn’t surprise me to hear that Sharpe has made it personal and put his foot in his mouth. Thanks for calling him out and being personal about Swinney yourself.
