For years, the K-Mart in Rock Hill always seemed to have a little bit of everything and was in a perfect location between the office and home. Easy to park, get in, get out...it was more convenient to run in there for quick things than any grocery or big box retailer. Also, they always seem to have things that nobody else did. At least it lasted until 2019 when I was still traveling to the office daily.

Without Kmart, we wouldn't have the phrase 'blue light special'

You gotta like a store that uses a police light to indicate a sale.

It did have some seating but the menu was pretty much pizza and those freaking killer Kmart hoagies.

Believe it or not, K-mart in Australia actually owns the Target brand there, as well.

Cool article.

Truth. More proof that poor management can overcome any success, no matter how great.
