Predictions about the 1st 12-team playoff

1) No team from the PAC-2 will make it (really putting myself out there on this one, LOL)
2) There will be 4 SEC, 4 B1G, 1 ACC, 1 B12, 1 G5, and the twelfth will either be ND or the highest ranked ACC/B12 team
3) If anybody enters the playoffs undefeated, it will be the G5 team…but I am predicting no undefeated
4) Three teams competing in new conferences will make the playoffs this year…all three would have made it in their old conferences
5) There will be at least 3 playoff teams with 3 (or maybe even one with 4) losses
6) Two teams not in the SEC or B1G will win their first round games, and one will win its second round game

If ESPN and the NCAA has anything to do with it, 8 out of the 12 would ne SEC.

1st round has one SEC vs SEC and one B1G vs B1G…but that may be unavoidable with the heavy concentration from those conferences

ND ain't going 11-1 so they won't make it.
Big 12 and ACC will have one team each. The purpose of the 12 team playoff is to maximize revenue to B1G and SEC.
