Take a look at the positives. They far outweigh the negatives. 34-3 is unacceptable, but really look at that game.
O-line? No doubt improved, god bless Matt Luke. Wide Receivers? Antonio Williams showed up for us and Tyler Brown has seen better games. TJ Moore or Bryant Wesco, maybe both, will show out once given an opportunity. One will become the clear WR1 for this offense and help the offense form an identity. Adam Randall did not step up and hurt us multiple times that game, Dabo needs to give Wesco a shot at starting vs App State. His play was unacceptable, as well as Cole giving up on that deep ball.
TE Jake Briningstool looked good and showed that he'll continue to be a reliable target for Cade Klubnik.
Cade Klubnik? Threw a garbage time, "hero" interception against a future 1st round NFL safety.
Turnovers? Only the one that Cade threw which was just mentioned.
The defense? Spoke for itself. They just need the offense to get going so they aren't so gassed so early and allow for so many points late.
Georgia is a #### good team and is deservedly the #1 team in the country. The majority of us expected to lose this game, albeit not in the way we lost, but we all knew this was a possible outcome. We still have a pretty good chance to get in the playoffs.
You have to give this team time to mesh together. Allow the offense to find its groove. Sure, this has been said the past 3 seasons, but the elements are all there this time. Talented WRs, O-Line that held up against Georgia, less turnover-prone Cade, reliable TEs, and hope the play calling gets better than a WR screen on 3rd and 14.
Take a look at our toughest opponents on this schedule.
NC State - At home. Clemson always plays its best football at home. Hopefully, by this time, Wesco & Moore will be allowed to ball out. If so, Clemson wins by 3 touchdowns. FSU - We all know Florida State is beatable, but playing away will make it much more difficult. DJ will do what DJ does, Mafah will run all over their "million dollar d-line" and we'll leave Doak with a win. Virginia Tech - Did not look great today and K. Drones is hurt. Very beatable, even at home. South Carolina - Shane Beamer will be fired when November rolls around. I don't have to explain this one.
We have a great team here that got off to a bad start. It may not be enough to win a National Championship, but I know it's enough to get into the playoffs. A Clemson home playoff game? They don't want to see how electric Death Valley would be.
Brush it off, embarrassing or not. Onto App State.
Go Tigers, slaughter those Mountaineers.

and although not amused with yesterday's result, I've seen worse.
I expect Dabo Swinney to make whatever adjustments necessary, to be overly cautious about micro-management...a surefire recipe for disaster...have proven assistants in place, and do what he does best: rallying the troops while letting those assistants earn their keep.
Lastly, while demanding excellence, we have to remind ourselves: we will not win every game, and we will lose some rather dramatically...every team in this nation will do the same, and I MEAN, EVERY TEAM IN THIS NATION!
