Georgia is ranked 9 while Clemson is 42 in net punting.
There is not a position group they aren't better at and some of them they are a lot better.
At one time our receivers were a lot better than what they had, not anymore.

Critical thinking doesnt make someone whiny. Its fair to poi t out that we salavaged a 9 win season. We were perennial playoff contenders. Right now we arent even Conference Championship contenders. I'll root all day for my alma mater, but to fix a problem you must first recognize it.

I like what we are brining in to play them next year. Georgia has had a top 3 class for maybe 7 years in a row? I would expect them to have better talent on their position groups. We will have good talent ready to play them. We are fine at every position. Its depth that worries me. We will match up well initially though.

Our LB’s including Trotter were the best in CFB imo. They will be a great unit next year as well. There you go.

No doubt UGA has better overall talent and better depth. But the game is played 11 on 11. Just like in the 2018 national championship. Our Backline five star quarterback. Our five star receiver Justin Ross outplayed their five star quarterback. The 11 people we had on the field for offense and defense outplayed their 11. We played so well that became an issue.

We recruited Delp but he chose Georgia. He will be their next Bowers. They use the tight end more than we do. It seems having two great tight ends at the same time who can block and go out for passes would be put a lot of pressure on a defense

TJ Parker will have two sacks, Barnes with multiple forced turnovers, Bryant Wesco with 150 yards and a td, and Phil Mafah with 2 td’s, Briningstool with the other. Clemson 31 to UGA 27.
Don’t know about the matchups, but we are made of more than fsu and will come ready to fight.

Javon Bullard and Malaki Starks are both better than Barnes. Stackhouse was much better than Peter Woods this year. The stats confirm it. Brinson and Parker are a wash. Brinson had better stats but had a lot more playing time. Why run your mouth when you don't even know both teams?

As I posted elsewhere, both had nearly double the number of tackles. They had the same number of picks. The only difference were the fumbles, but that's a freak thing and doesn't count when measuring season effectiveness.

I would agree our linebackers were better than theirs this year. But we're losing our best one. Corner was also better, but we lost them too. Defensive line, we weren't even close to theirs.

It is the height of delusion to think a freshman in their first start, no matter how talented or highly sought after they might be, is suddenly going to equal an experienced All-SEC linebacker.

Bullard- 39 Tackles, 0 Forced Fumbles, 2 INT, 5 PD
Starks- 31 tackles, 0 forced fumbles, 3 INT, 7 PD
Try again dude. Barnes has more turnovers than both of them combined, and I didn’t look at snap count but I would be willing to bet he played less snaps. 😂

TigerPride97 furthermore, did you even watch Barnes force that fumble the other day? That wasn’t a freak thing, he knocked the ball out. Thats why it’s called a forced fumble genius. I would say it’s a very important stat for season effectiveness. Just go learn football and how to read stats and then come back and talk, or better yet go to a dawg board.

I will call Dabo this week and let him know we may be better off cancelling. Ga just beat FSU’s walk-ons and it has scared a lot of our fans. TennesseeVol says we get beat by 20. If you do have tickets just go through normal procedures to get refunded and maybe one day when Dabo can ever figure out how to run a team maybe we can reschedule this deal…

We beat Kentucky, without their star running back, best cornerback, best linebacker, and two starting linemen by 3 points, and needed a freak field goal kick and a miraculous fourth quarter comeback to do it. Kentucky had 5 more opt outs than we did. Georgia beat a fully healthy Kentucky 51-13. Their top contributors will all be back. Yet these people think we'll beat them because "it's a new year" and "they trust Dabo."
Notice only two people actually tried to engage with your point and try to argue position groups where we are better. I mean, they were woefully misinformed (one said our #42 punter was better than their #9 punter and the other said Barnes and Woods were better than their All-Americans), but they tried. The rest just went for name-calling. Just a pathetic group of people.

Pumpers do you mean fans? If it’s going to stress you out find another hobby man. Football should be fun it’s a sport not life altering in any way. Some of you need to back away from the ledge. I love Clemson football and as a die hard am honored to be a pumper. That’s what I do cheer and pull for Clemson. That’s the only part of this whole deal I or anyone else on this board can control.

The last time we played them, with a little offense we could have won the game. Yet, that UGA team had 8 1st round draft picks, 2-2nd, 3-3rd, 5-4th round picks & 26 total draft picks ..... and that is not counting those on this years team that were on the 2022 and 2023 team. So if your point is that they have better players, well yeah, but they have always had better players.
I think your point is to bash Clemson, for some odd reason, as pointing out UGA has better players is pointless. We had better players at every position group, except maybe one or two at Duke ..... and lost, so your point is what?

A few on here that think they are too intellectual to just be mere fans of the sport. They want to argue position groups 9 months ahead of the contest. Mind you not one of them can change the roster or have any input into game plans, but their lives are so miserable they are already deeply depressed in just the thought of playing Ga.
Dang if it ever gets this bad for myself I’m walking away. Life is too short.

Like you, I am a huge fan of Clemson football and have been enjoying going to games since my first one in about 1955 ....... so I have seen a lot. I fell in love with the University and all Clemson sports. I have loved every coach we have ever had and never once trashed one because they did not live up to everyone's expectations. I have been disappointed with a number of them that left because they thought another university was a better opportunity. I could never understand why! So let's just enjoy our last game, not worry about football until next season, and look forward to the rest of basketball season, baseball, softball, track, rowing, and golf ....... and yes, I follow them all.
