As always you have your head up yo bung. They are the ENEMY #1 right now. Sad they didn't lose and hope they goose egg in football. You are correct on one thing I am completely happy with Bacman. I will not TD you as I think you are a Clemson basketball fan 1st, and there is nothing wrong with that.

I agree with you for the most part but I get the OP’s point. If I run across a coworker, friend or family member who is a Tenn fan I’ll tell them congrats, but going out of my way to make a message board poast praising the wonders of their coach, team, fans, culture, etc. as some have done is too much IMO. You’re a Tenn fan at that point.

If you were being genuine about really congratulating them, you post it where Tennessee fans would actually see it, and do it on the UT site and not our site where maybe 3 TN fans hang out.
The only reason you would do it on the Clemson site is to simply draw attention to yourself and be aggravating. Oh wait…

In other words he took advantage of all the resources available to him to build a championship team. I hate they won it but can’t fault him for taking advantage for what is available to everyone if they so choose.

There is no reason to not congratulate Tennessee because they have been the best team all year and they deserved to win. We have a coach and do not need the coach from Tennessee.

This version of Tennessee was not chirpy. 2022 team definitely set the standard for chirping but this team was much more butttoned down, focused and driven.

I’m not congratulating them but they won it all. Don’t care for their coach, rather have EB any day. They won the championship whether I like it or not. Maybe $ put them there but I like Clemson and the Clemson culture. I do have several good friends who grew up in Tenn and I did congratulate them. Go Tigers!!

They are already having their parade tonight in DT Knoxville. Most schools wait up to a week to do that. Bless their hearts they were thirsty to win something. It's been a long drought since that football and Women's basketball titles.

I doubt they’re any more “thirsty” than anybody else. Seems not long ago our fan base was “thirsty” for something, having not won a football title for 35 years and not much else in any other sport besides the occasional men’s soccer.

If you were an actual Clemson fan (except for our star war followers), you would know we show class by congratulating the champs. If you don’t like the fact that they are the champs, then do something about it before next year. Being classless because someone else won is not a trait most Clemson fans embrace
