From what I understand, SMU has to lose two more or Miami has to lose one more along with the Tigers beating Pitt to claim a spot in the ACC championship.
If 3 way tie among SMU, Miami, and Clemson: SMU and Miami get in because they will be 2-0 vs common opponents (FSU Tech and Louisville) while we are 1-1.
If 2 way tie for second, the above applies and we'd lose out to SMU or Miami, again due to record against common opponents.
So we need to claim sole possession of second or first place and that requires SMU losing twice or Miami losing once along with a Clemson win over Pitt.
