Tennis senior day double header. Women vs #56 SMU at 1pm, Men vs #45 GT at 6pm

Big day of tennis in Clemson today for the last home matches for both the men and women. Wow already, feels like the season started yesterday.

The #37 ranked Clemson women kick the day off at 1pm vs #56 SMU in an important match for staying on the right side of the ncaa tournament bubble.

The #24 ranked Clemson men play the evening match at 6pm against #45 Georgia Tech. I will have more on this match later today.

Looks like the rain moved out so will be a nice and slightly chilly day to end the 2025 home tennis slate.

I'm with you on that T_I_P. It does seem like the season just began. Whew, where's the time go. All the spring sports. Ghesh it goes quickly.

As you stated. Two very important matches. Both should win... but winnings hard. At least it appears that we have post season to look forward to, and that in itself is a treasure, and long overdue. It's fun that we're competing in all our sports, less volleyball. Even rowing appears to be on the upswing.

Appreciate the information as always. On the men's side, the young freshman looked good in the match at va tech. It looks like we have a good group of underclassmen, but I guess it's like all sports now, we never know who may decide to leave.

Yaaaay !!!!

That was fun watching. Whew, I was sweating that one out. Closer than I thought since we won the doubles.

Congratulations to the young freshman Candela who was clutch. She or Amelie would have won a 3rd set... which at that point, who knows.

Let's go Tigers. One down, one to go. Men need to make it a senior day sweep!!!

She is a no nonsense player who goes to work every point. She is small in stature but makes up for it with hustle and consistency. Type of player who will get a lot of wins at the lower part of the lineup in college tennis. Breakdown less consistent and less focused players
