Finally, you've said something that I totally disagree with Myfav. And that is there isn't a thing nice about the Heisman, like I said in my other post, if you throwed that trophy away, you would need to tape a quarter to it so you could say that you throwed something of worth away!!!

Ab so lute ly a joke and worse IMO!!! If CJ Spiller, DW4, or TL16 wasn't selected as the Heisman winner, well then, no player from Clemson will ever be awarded that fake trophy, and it is a fake trophy bc that's what the Heisman voters made it to be, Just a fake piece of junk, and to make it worth anything, you would need to tape a quarter to it before throwing it away so you could say that you throwed something of value away!!!

a lot of voters probably have already settled on the Jeanty kid from Boise State. I still say, if all voters had watched the WHOLE season, DW4 wins that Heistman, because Jackson struggled down the stretch that year, and DW4 shined.

amazing that voters ignore the crappy first half of games by Cam, but Watson and Lawrence got quarters of games critiqued instead of just the final result. Cam meets the requirement of a heisman fave being transfer and at da U (why they are a media darling???).

Clemson QBs will NEVER win the Heisman so long as the starting defense remains strong and the offense generates big leads going into the 4th quarter. Dabo will always play as many backups as possible as early as possible (which is a good thing for several reasons), so the QB stats will never reach the levels of, say, Cam Ward, who has played many more minutes that Cade and whose team is not blowing out many opponents. We need a stat showing QB minutes played vs. yards/TDs/INTs in order to compare the players' performances.

So a partial answer to my own question about the need for a stat showing QB minutes played vs. Yards/TDs/INTs... Cam Ward has made 246 pass attempts this season vs. Cade's 219. Cam has 2538 passing yards, so 10.32 yards per pass. Cade has 1836 passing yards, 8.38 yards per pass. Cam has 24 TD passes, so 1 TD every 10.25 passes. Cade has 20 TDs, 1 every 10.95 passes. Cam has 5 INTs for 1 every 49.2 passes. Cade has 3 INTs for 1 every 73 passes. Overall: Both players having excellent seasons, but Cam's is statistically better at this point of the season.
