Bard Brownell just told all of you to drink a tall glass of "Shut the hell up"!!
He is a good coach, we have a pretty good team but not a great team. Basketball is not the focus at Clemson, coach and his staff are working to make us better. We play in a powerhouse basketball conference and we just beat #16 Louisville. 3-1 in ACC!!

Leave the hiring and, if relevant, firing to the AD -
learn to be a true fan.

The only time I call for a coach to be fired is after the season or when his/her players are no longer making an effort to win on the field. Other than a head coach losing his team I think the time to talk about firing is after the season is done.
Coach Brownell has upgraded the team since he has been there. What I really like is that his teams seem to improve during the season. I remember a long string of last or next to last place finishes in the ACC by other coaches in Basketball. I do not remember Brownell ever being in last place. It will likely be rare years when we are competitive with Duke or UNC but I thought the same about Syracuse and Louisvile!
