to exponential levels . . . from his perfectly double tapered, burnt umber, wipe-free stool . . . to the brand of dental floss used to remove fragments of his raisins and steel cut oatmeal from the “food trap” in his left lower molar . . . You can find out, if you’re tuned into The Golf Channel . . .
To give him kudos . . . He did just hit his 214 yard approach on Hole #5 (the #1 Handicap Hole @ Augusta) to within 14 feet . . .
I’m not pulling for him . . . but I do acknowledge his abilities and what he has done for the game I’ve grown to love. I hope his body allows him to perform throughout the weekend.

Haven't seen it posted so passing along as FYI. You can watch every golfers shot through the site. I've been watching what Lucas has done... Or not done. Hopefully the back nine is kinder. I'd love to see him at least make the cut.
As for Tiger - well, I'll pull for Lucas and whoever MFO has. Although, I'd like to see Cameron young do well. Would like to see Greaser win low am.

He had a great look at 9 and just wouldn't fall for him. Dang. How he doubled 5 is beyond me. But you can tell from his mannerisms after his approach that the wind is playing havoc with him.
Come on Lucas, great back 9. Finish E on the day will be a good spot for tomorrow. Please. I'd love to see you on Saturday !!!!
Too bad Jacob isn't playing. Being an SC fella, he should be in the heritage by default. Arg.

A poor drive into the deep, high lipped, left fairway bunker caused a 50 yard layup . . .
A weak approach (3rd shot) was nowhere close to the green and short . . .
His chip up was woefully short, leaving him a 16 footer for bogey . . .
Which of course . . . He missed . . .
The Pros make a living out of recovering from one bad shot to make Par . . .
3 poor shots on any hole is gonna cost even them . . . especially if that hole is the course’s #1 Handicap Hole . . .
Hoping he can find Even Par before he ends his day!!!

Good looking up and down on 12. Same with 15 after he had to layup and then scalded the 85 yarder over the green. He knew it too. But he did sink a beautiful 8 footer for par.

Darn, that 6 footer on 18. Yikes. He actually putted good today. But no complaints because where he was after the 5th at +4... We'll take it. Good thing (I hope) is he goes off at 8:10 tomorrow and will hopefully miss the forecast stronger afternoon winds.
