The State's headline switcheroo

Jul 13, 2013, 9:21 PM

Earlier today, I noticed a headline on The State's web site noting that Woody Dantzler and Marcus Lattimore were working at a football camp at AC Flora.

I surfed back by the web site about 9 p.m. and saw that the headline had been changed. It now reads "Former USC star Marcus Lattimore works with youth during camp at A.C. Flora".

Although the story is the same (Woody is still named in the story), the headline was rewritten to completely remove Dantzler's name.

I neglected to mention that the photo was also changed. They replaced a photo of Dantzler and Lattimore with a photo of just Lattimore.

Love unbiased, even-handed sports reporting.

USuC is pouring millions into SC's newspapers, radio, and TV to keep it biased. Doing this gets them new/more fans which will buy their stuff/crap. Which in turn they get their money back--not a bad investment on their part. Glad to see some people calling out their local papers, radio, TV. I called out my local TV guy at a function here in Charleston and he stuttered and stammered. One way to stop this wave is for the Tigers to get back on a winning streak against these $0B$.
