The self sabotage in this program is getting really old

All the hype for this game and season, BK clowning us for weeks, lsu showing up in 1-0 shirts, prime time opening day slot and we drop that turd?!?

LSU is a good team, but they are not great, Im sorry, theyre not. Thats a multi-loss team this year. And we had NO answer offensively. Again. Against an SEC foe. What was our game plan exactly? Its like we were just randomly drawing plays out of a hat every down. Had all off season to come up with......THAT??? And this all predates Riley. Been going on for years now - utter incompetence offensively and its NOT a taltent issue. Honestly Ill be floored if we are able to hold on to Wesco and Moore after this season.

Im so far happy with Allen, massive upgrade from the potatoe we had. But the offensive issues have to get fixed and thats going to necessitate changes at the coaching level.

We've had the same offense of 6 years now. That is the problem. No imagination whatsoever.

I think we need less imagination and more of a X & O's "What's the defense showing us" coach at this point.

When people actually think theyve seen the same offense for 6 years -

Not trying to be mean, but man, that is one ignorant take! Comical really.

No offense tho. I guess you don’t really understand what you’re seeing on the field and instead can only pull on a baseless and tired narrative.

ATLEAST WE ARE DOING IT DABOS WAY

God forbid you be a critic of the man making 11 MILLION a year. That’s Ryan day and Kirby smart money. They have programs that we used to have. Dabos running a clown show and running this program into the dirt.

including winning the conference again and a playoff bid last year..

You have strange idea of dirt. Coot.

And spare me the “I’m not a coot” nonsense. Even if you are a Clemson “fan” your takes are ignorant with forced negativity, even if patently false.

Might as well be a coot, coot.

Why blame Reilly, he was, according to Dabo, hired to run the "Clemson" offense. It was offensive all right.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

His name is Riley, and its fully his offense.

2021 - DJU. No OC on the planet could’ve made him better than his limiting skill set

2022 - DJU again. Even in spite of his limits, we coached the offense to within a last game loss of making the 4 team playoff. GREAT COACHING to get in that position.

2023 - Cade as a sophomore with a new OC

2024 - Defense was bad. Real bad. Offense was 11th in the country

2025 - one game. Cade looked like 2023 and the OC didn’t look like he knew what to do against the same 3 blitz plays.

Look, I’m concerned about the depth of Riley’s playbook and knowledge to adjust against talented attacking team, but to say we’ve been seeing the same thing for years is not at all accurate.

That 11th ranked offense was propped up by beating ###### teams come on. They struggled to score on any team with a pulse. Get real.

Every team in the country establish their stat set to

include games against lesser teams.

Our schedule was 22nd.

In our last game last year, we played the highest ranked opponent of the season. Texas was the 3rd ranked defense in the country. We had 130 yards more against them than their season average. This goes to show what we are capable of doing when the QB plays like a grizzled veteran and the OC is actually calling plays to offset what the defense is doing

Neither of those things occurred Saturday night.

So yeah, our offense put its numbers up against an above average schedule. Yes we padded those stats against some lesser teams, but the same applies to every team.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

We didnt beat a single real team last year.***

Just curious: you do realize who is responsible for recruiting evaluations and roster management, right?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Uuum of course.

DJU was one of the top 2 QBs in the country coming out, and he was wanted by everyone.

He looked the part in 2020 but ultimately he wasn’t that guy.

So help me understand how this falls on the staff for a poor evaluation? It was the same evaluation everyone used , the reason he was a 5 star top two QB. He would have been the same or worse no matter where he went. He wa the same at Arizona State and FSU. So I guess everyone “failed” at their evaluation?

Does that include everyone you’re speaking about?

They both rank 5th to 6th in the acc for position coaches and between 40th to 60th in all of college football. We should be hiring coached based on merit and performance and not loyalty and friends and family plan. They have not developed the talent and CJ had not recruited any good RBs and Bern riding on the coat tails of Tony Elliott recruits
