the screen game is non-existent

Sep 12, 2016, 8:27 PM

Why have there been no quick screens to the outside receivers like Scott or McCloud? Last year that was regularly called and got a couple yards a pop. I know most of the time they were called after the offense got in a rhythm. but with big receivers like thompson or Williams out there to block it seems like easy yards.

The Troy defense stuffed it every time we called the play. Blocking was pitiful on the screens.

Peake was the best blocking wr we've had in some time. We need the WR unit to step up.
