Well, let me say I knew him very well in his younger days. Went on a road trip with him, played softball together, ate meals in his home etc. But I’ve lost contact for the most part over the past decade or two. I’m not aware of the New Spring stuff. I’m not saying your facts are wrong, just saying we’re not close these days and I didn’t realize that.

They’re not kids anymore yall.
Cade is paid quite handsomely to produce.
He didn’t get personal but he didn’t lie either.
Sorry but this criticism is valid any way you slice it.
They wanted a piece of the pie remember? They wanted to be paid their worth and value remember?
Well it ain’t all cherry pies and rainbows once you get what you wish for. Theirs another side to it which I guarantee 99% never thought about bc they were so focused on the money.
With this kind of money comes huge expectations. When you fail to even come close to those expectations… you’re going to get smashed verbally.
This is part of the deal now. The players and fans need to accept it and understand they are no longer kids anymore.

We have become so sensitive as a society that literally anything can be termed offensive.
Get over it.
If Cade doesn’t want someone saying that about him… either don’t play football… don’t take the money… or the simplest way to stop it… produce and play the way you’re supposed to play.

You and others of this mindset would be dunking on these players for their poor play if NIL and the portal didn't exist , if they were still uncompensated kids playing football for the team you'd sworn allegiance to.
The fact that they're payed has nothing to do with your decision to deride them , but it does provide a convenient puddle for your boo-hoo tears to fall into.
