The Rivalry over the last 3, 5, 10, 50 years

Some numbers.
We have beaten the Gamecocks by 94 points over the past three years. Next year, Bentley has the chance to become the first Gamecock QB to go 0-4 against Clemson (I think that’s right, paging Tim Bourret).
During the SC streak they averaged 31 ppg against us. The most they scored was 34.
During our current five game PAW streak, we are averaging 43.6 ppg against them. 34 was the least we scored. 56 the most twice.
During their streak, their team had 49 wins.
During ours, 62 with a chance for more.
During the last decade, they've had 73 wins with a chance for two more this year.
During the last decade, we've won 100, with a chance for three more this season.
Over the last 50 years we lead The Rivalry 31-18-1.
Good times Tigers! #BeatPitt

Besides, of course we win a lot of games and they don’t. We are in the A-She-She and they are in the mighty SEC, the only conference that plays big boy football. Clemson would have no chance if they ever played an SEC team. The SEC East is a freakin gauntlet.

if they lose it's because they play in the SEZ and they get beat up, but if they win it's because they play in the SEZ and it makes them tougher. Win-win.

From 1946 to 1955...they were 7-2-1 against the Tigers. Even with that advantage, the record from 1946 to the present is in favor of Clemson 42-29-2.

then we can see how well we play against the SEC.
They seem so adamant though - makes you wonder how we would actually fare against the likes of Auburn, Georgia, Alabama, LSU or Texas A&M? You know, the tough teams that only they get to play
