The rivalry is everywhere

Had a pickup truck tailgating me, right on my bumper, I was lane-bound, nowhere to go. I noticed the tag on the front of the truck was a chicken logo. Clearly, he would have noticed my Clemson tag. I break- checked the neck, and could see the beak start to flap wildly. As I made a left turn towards my destination, he gave me a gamecock salute, which my teenage son in the passenger seat noticed and asked “what’s wrong with that guy”. I just laughed and said “he was born a gamecock fan.” Born…, because no one of free will chooses to be one.

Exactly, I really don't believe that anyone has every threaten any of them or forced any of them to be a gamecock fan. In fact they have on their own free will chose to be a gamecock, even the ones that were raised as Gamecocks, as adults they remain a Gamecock by choice.
All of us were raised by our parents or someone who promised to raise a child without parents for whatever reason the best that they could do with what they had to take over that responsibility. When child becomes an adult they have their rights that we all have, and if they are still Gamecock fans after becoming an adult that means that is the choice they've made of their own free will.
I also believe that when we're not happy with the choices we've made, we have the right to completely change or modify those choice and we fail to so, it's nobody's fault but our own. Go Tigers was my choice ever since I was 9-10 years old and I'm perfectly happy with my choice, Go Tigers!!!

I have noticed that all of the recent gamecock gear is new. They only recently started to support their chickens when things are going good .

The coot must be insane to pull a stunt like that with all the violence in the country. He is lucky that he was doing that to a level headed Tiger fan and not some nut who is also insane.

That’s no lie. I was in Vegas last week for work and we took a tour to the Grand Canyon…I had my Clemson sweatshirt on and sure enough there was a group of Gamecocks on the same bus

Gotta say brake checking is pretty silly

I've definitely been guilty of it in the past when I was younger, but none of the potential outcomes are good.
1) They are paying attention and stop in time but you've now likely angered an aggressive driver who may attempt to do something even dumber and more dangerous in relatiation. Getting the coot salute is pretty much the best case scenario.
2) They aren't paying attention and you cause the accident you were worried about to begin with

I use to brake check too, but now I subtly slow down and speed up creating an accordion effect. They still ride my bumper, but only half the time and I get a bit of joy knowing the are having to constantly adjust to my driving.

At times “Lamecock” fans will have a moment in time but never a Winning Tradition to “crow” about. The only tradition they are known for is losing.
