It suck's to lose to the Coots in Football and tonight basketball. Honestly I believe the football and basketball teams are both better teams then Carolina’s. But that’s the besides the point. My point I’m making tonight is the success of the season isn’t based off that one rivalry game. It’s based off an overall body of work. With that said Clemson football body of work was good enough to win the ACC championship and punch a ticket to the playoffs with a chance at a national championship. Clemson basketball body of work will not be determined by one unlucky loss in a rivalry game. I believe the basketball team will go on to have a great season punching its ticket to the ncaa tournament. Yes I want to beat the coots every single year it sucks to lose that game. But let me ask you this question. If Clemson football wins the national championship this season would you even care about the coot loss anymore? I wouldn’t I’d be like coots who! Body of work determines a season not rivalry games.

it 100% does. Beating them is all that matters.

If you could only choose one. Would you rather win the national championship or beat the coots?

So they can pull a UCF and hang a banner that says national champs, because they totally would. I would take 1-11 with that single win being over them versus anything that means losing that game.

I’d rather beat South Carolina in football than win the ACC and be a#12 seed.

Would I rather a National Championship, yeah, but it’s inexcusable to lose back to back games against South Carolina in Death Valley

I think they’re better than us in football. I think we’re better than them in Basketball (despite the result tonight). Neither team in either sport would win the game 100 times out of 100. Closer than anyone on either side thinks.

We lead for 58 minutes in football

You sound like a GT fan in their one sided rivalry with UGA. It feels like that's where things are headed if things don't change at Clemson. We are giving the coots reasons to call us Clemtech.

Coot games have a great impact on how football seasons
