Oh yes, he’s on everyone’s radar now but they kind of slow played him through the early part of the season.
Glad to see him getting some accolades, he certainly deserves them.

It was hard to follow and seemed to be written by Quentin Tarantino, making odd jumps back an forth in time. It was also disappointing that it didn’t even mention how Elliot even came to hear of him.

There is a little more to the story of ETN's recruitment. Richardson had been committed to us for a long time, but we backed off because of a grade changing controversy at his high school in Memphis. That was just before Christmas in 2016, and we didn't have another RB on our radar, but we needed one.
Bama knew all about ETN, but they thought that Akin who went to FSU was a lock for them, and they only had room for 1 RB. Bama didn't want LSU to get ETN and have to play against him. One of their assistant coaches called Tony Elliott and put him on ETN.

2017 was Burns last as their RB Coach. He is still with them as an assistant athletics director for football program. Burton was the last assistant coach standing from Nick's original Bama staff (2007 - 2017 seasons).

Great read and incredible story about Alabama Assistant Coach tipping off Elliott about this great running back. Lord willing, beating the next 2 teams with ETN is gonna be "PRICELESS"!!!! Thank you God for such a special young man, and one of the greatest running backs this world has ever seen!
