and I-95. Those roads are potholed pieces of crumbling hot garbage that make SC look like a third world country. Seriously - those roads are an embarrassment to SC - especially when compared to the condition of the roads in NC, GA, and Florida...

I keep seeing counties and cities trying to add a penny gas tax to fix the roads and bridges in their areas because they are not getting state funds. I do remember SC adding gas taxes to do just this but don't see much happening except on I-85 which should be getting federal funds.

Where did the state gas tax money go? Maybe it was put in this fund and the state forgot to use it.
