Keep pumping false narratives until the sheep completely consume it and it becomes reality.
Good job.

There is some truth to that, but on the other hand it is the best conference at this stage as much as we don't want it to be. At that stage they are just telling the truth.

conference decided to put a focus on it, change scheduling and pushed their teams to strive for more.
The ACC was widely regarded as a top basketball conference in 2016 - it got 9 teams in the NCAA tournament. The SEC was widely regarded as a bottom basketball conference in 2016 - it got 3 teams in the NCAA tournament.
One conference did something about it, the other rested on their laurels.

And one last thing, I don't see this getting much better. The lawsuit that FSU

and Clemson made - aside from whether it was warranted or not - caused a lot of unease throughout the conference as it brought in a lack of vision to what the future brings. Couple that with the fact that some schools we need to ramp up in basketball - Wake, BC, Pitt, Syracuse, you name them - will likely be getting a revenue cut from the ACC while Clemson, FSU, several others get a raise in revenue intake.
This, overall, will not help the 2nd tier football schools enhance their basketball. They'll be some budget cuts and tough choices in those places, and the ability to execute almost perfectly will be needed. It can be done, but will be difficult.

against our vaunted ACC in basketball this year and I believe 59-19 against all power conferences, so yes, sure they stink and everything they say about the conference is false. It amazes me after the butt whooping the ACC took from them this year that people still act like they are a media creation, the numbers don’t lie!

the SEC have perennially been bad in NCAA basketball for 20 years. They'll have about 3 teams (Kentucky being the token power) every year that are worthy to compete at a high level but that's not the case now. With the advent of the NIL and the Marketing Campaign put on by ESPN for the last couple of years they have created a powerhouse. The PR campaign and the NIL dollars follow each other.
Are they the best? Yes they are. So they're not lying. But the amount of nudging and over hyping was aided and created by their power broker.. SEC is in a great spot in this era of history no doubt.

ESPN is constantly hyping up the best conference. I don't see why the Sun Belt Conference doesn't get the same hype as the SEC. It isn't fair.
