No. You don’t do this in weekend baseball. Even bad ACC teams are better than the top half of the Big Ten conference. Hopefully he’s learning one helluva lesson.

You would pull them so you can let a lot of players who work their Fannie’s off with very little playing time a chance to play. Our pitchers should have been able to hold them, as they usually do. Sometimes stuff just happens …….. even to us.

Should the reserves not be able to maintain or at least hang on to the lead of 11-2? Not thinking it was out of the norm to play the reserves but hindsight is 20/20 and currently does not look like a good move. Don’t fault the coach. The reserves need to be ready to play if called on and they obviously were not.

Baloney ……. Position players play in blow out games all the time. Our relief pitchers should have been able to hold a 9 run lead regardless of who is in the field.

Don’t forget, the wind was a factor too. Yeah, I wanted to see run rule too, ND had other ideas. They came to the plate and attacked the ball. Didn’t sit on pitches. Hats off to them for not giving up but,,,yes we got the sweep!
