is part of the problem! If someone disagrees with something that you sunshine pumpers say then they're automatically a coot......this is a message board and different people have different opinions, to which they're entitled.... So if someone has a gripe/complaint with the program and you dont agree, keep your opinion to yourself instead of calling them coots, or saying "we dont need you as a tiger anyway", "go back to your coot friends"......... maybe the people that have these complaints are right and you're wrong!

Not sure if being ironic, but I gave you a +1 anyway. I kind of agree with the sentiment of the OP. Although some people are less diplomatic in how they criticize Dabo/the program status quo.

No, he's right. A large section of people consider criticism to be disloyalty, when usually it's far from it.
However, if you're going to log on and bash someone's favorite coach/player/jersey color, you should expect some push back.

Apparently you didnt read my post... I have no problem with anyone's opinion... My point is alot of people get blasted and labeled as "coots" or "not real tiger fans" for having an opinion that go with the grain. People dont get called coots for going along with everything. They get called coots for having a difference opinion

It's all in how you present your opinion. We have so many USC fans trolling under the pretense of being Tiger fans it leaves you jaded.
After awhile even honest Tiger fans become targets of the coot label. (Pulse % is usually a good indicator of trolls).

is the message...and how it's presented. Obviously, there will be varying opinions on any board, as well as smack talk, trash talk, and just talk talk. Some posts are worthy of response, even debate; some are quite informative, entertaining and/or noteworthy. Others, however, invite rapid denunciation merely for the way in which they are offered: negatively with nary a positive suggestion for correcting problems or intentionally with the purpose of defaming Clemson and our programs. Thus, my only suggestion for those concerned with derogatory labels or adjectives is to consider carefully wording and presentation by offering constructive rather than destructive criticisms. Naturally, I'm not naive enough to believe that will happen....

You are correct.......That part wasn't intended to mean dont speak your opinion... It's intended to mean, if your opinion is different that's fine, but that doesn't mean the person criticizing something within the program is a "troll" or "coot" or an "unloyal fan". Maybe that part came off the wrong way.
