Lot of people are looking at the current state of affairs wondering if the nation is truly ######, not just decline, a death of constitutional Republic and a Titanic shift of power for the ages. We are quickly moving on from the Republic, and toward the Empire stage, with Trump as self-appointed "First Citizen", a la Octavian.
You look at the state of the far-left, the recent past, who leads them, and they have close to zero chance of realistic grass-roots support that would lead to the kind of shit-show we are witnessing today. You look closely, and you won't see any such leaders with aspirations to become Emperors, nor will you likely find any movement to create one.
The "both sides" argument is a tired excuse and one I ain't buying anymore.

though it wouldn't surprise me that they are both tariff related.
I get how sobering it is for y'all, you want to de-globalize so badly but you don't want to hear about it when people's livelihoods are negatively affected.
What y'all weren't counting on is that the rest of the world is more than ready to de-globalize as well, which to them means taking dollars out of our companies and putting it into their own.
