I have somewhat of an opinion:

Win with class, lose with class.

Young, tender children like to rub their blankies on their faces to comfort themselves. It’s not a good look for a grown man to do this.

If you’re so ashamed that you don’t want to be seen, then leave the court and spare your school the embarrassment of looking like a juvenile whiner.

Other than that, I don’t have much of an opinion.

But they love taunting and flaunting and prancing because it is part of the sport. LMAO.

I like your take! I have often had the same thoughts after watching this behavior at the end of games.

It made me laugh out loud when you said at the end, “Other than that, I don’t have that much of an opinion “

ran the bases with his head looking down. When asked “why?” he said “I didn’t want to look up and embarrass the pitcher.”

I often wonder why all basketball players (men and women) are always screaming. Wasn’t that way in 80s and 90s.

But then I realize, I’m old asf. 🤣🤣🤣

I had always assumed they were tearing up and didn't want to be seen crying.

The best of the best did that at times. It's been going on for decades. It's nothing to complain about.
