I honestly believe you could be right. He is something else. Did you see the video of the block he had? I swear this kid has wings under that uniform somewhere. He really can fly.

This is more impressive than the dunk!

The ground he covers in like 1.5 seconds is incredible. He's basically starting at half court when the play begins and FLYS OUTTA NOWHERE to make that block.
TNTigerLady, have you seen him play in person? I don't know if you live close enough to witness this live. But it has to be a hot ticket to see him play any sport.

I went to one football game and one basketball game. I finally broke down to go see him play basketball because one of my coworkers said he was even better at basketball. He is such a natural athlete. I can not wait to see what he does at Clemson.

Could be quite comical.
1st & goal at the 5 yard line is going to be the easiest TD in the world for the next 3 to 4 years. Just lob it up to the back corner.

Would love to see join our basketball team

But it's really hard to play basketball and football as college football is basically a year around sport. Basketball season starts towards the end of the football season and by the time the playoffs come around the basketball season is basically halfway over. You could possibly play baseball and football in college but that still runs into spring practice and off-season workouts

They have worked it out before with Harper, Nuk, and a couple more. Biggest problem is the conditioning. Tee needs to put on some mass to out muscle some of the stronger dba. Playing basketball makes that pretty hard to do since its basically pure cardio.

Very, very hard to excel at both college level

Would hate to see him split time and lose ground as a football player. He's going to be a great football player with NFL potential. He might help the basketball team some, but it would be at the expense of consitioning and focus on football. Don't do it.

I don't think he has any plans to. He says he is only going to play football in college.
I think at the beginning of basketball this season he said he was not going to play in order to focus on getting ready for football......but his love of the game and desire to compete made him change his mind.

Higgins knows his future is in football. He will have about 4 months to get in football shape and hopefully add a few pounds to get ready for August. Time to switch gears.

The operative words being "fairly well" ...

There are always exceptions to every rule. Bruce Ellington did fairly well. He was a solid, if unspectacular player for SCAR in football and basketball. I agree with you that he was not nearly the athlete that Tee Higgins is. Higgins has an All-American, 1st Round NFL type potential in football if he concentrates on it. He's also a fine high school basketball player. I'm sure he could help our basketball team if he played, but I'm also pretty sure it would be at the expense of his football future.
