Guy posted this like an hour ago:
EHTBP Batch 13, just hit shelves, $340 each, can do 44x.
Second comment: "Damn, I'm looking for 45 of them."
Also, just a reminder of how dirty the 3 tier system is, since nobody should have 44 of these in hand to sell on a secondary page.

That's actually not a terrible price on a shelf.

You can get Lot Bs marginally cheaper on secondary, but not much. Like you're paying $700-750, probably.

what does all this mean? secondary market? 3 tier?
sounds like there's some pokemon discord trading group that I don't know about.

Secondary market is how Texas stole Mukuba.

No, that just means it's some dude selling, not a liquor store.
3 tier is the distribution system we have here in the US. Producer - Distributor - Retailer. Basically as I understand it this is why you can't buy from the producer typically (because distributor has to be involved).
Of course everybody takes a cut. And takes a share, hence why some jabronie has 44 bottles of sought after juice that didn't make it to any local liquor store. He's got a contact of some kind at the distributor.
19B, please eviscerate my simplistic or flat-out wrong understanding pls.

Here's a good primer on the 3-tier system that hasn't changed much at all

since Prohibition: https://distilling.com/distillermagazine/three-tier-distribution-navigation/
The big distillers, BT especially, used to watch and note which liquor stores were charging more than MSRP and by how much, and it would allegedly impact their future allocations if they were overcharging. But, since basically EVERY liquor store is charging well above MSRP for allocated bottles now, I don't believe that's thing anymore (maybe a little bit in the big chains like Total Wine, but definitely not in mom n pops). I've seen liquor store owners, usually by proxy, put allocated bottles on FB secondary pages because they could get, say, $1500 for a Four Roses Al Young, instead of the $350 that FR wants them to charge on a shelf.
The fuckery generally happens with the wholesalers though, whether it's incoming or outgoing cases/bottles. At least I think so, because there is no single liquor store getting 44 EHTBPs. Somebody pulled those out of the distribution chain before they could get to retail likker stores.

buddybook has (quite literally) hundreds of national pages and probably thousands of local pages, and thousands more of just club-type groups that also allow buy/sell/trades. The serious sites have a LOT of rules based on years of trying to stay a step or two ahead of Zuck's bots, so no dollar signs, specific words or phrases, etc., instabans if you do it because you didn't read the rules. It's like world class bikers staying a step or two ahead of dope testing capabilities.
