If U really want to know the truth, read the findings(5-7 pages) of this recent Senate INTEL Committee report. The findings in it were “bipartisan” and “provided new revelations and the most comprehensive description to date of Russia’s activities and the threat they posed”. This means the 6 republicans and 5 dems on the committee had to agree on the wording of each “finding”(i.e. as close to the actual truth we are gonna get) ...

Draw your own conclusions from the findings and remember that Trump’s written response’s to the special counsel investigation was that he "did not recall talking to Stone about WikiLeaks’s”. There are also words in it like "grave counterintelligence threat”. I would have added "to our American Democracy" to that. Also, know that significant information in the report remains redacted and then way deep in the report a committee member states that "The American people also deserve better than a double standard in which information related to Russian interference in U.S. elections remains heavily redacted while information that might cast doubt on investigations into that interference is released wholesale”. Hmmm? I guess that would mean that in that person's opinion, the redacted info might be the most damning or embarrassing. We will all know ALL of it one day.

I'm a 62 year old Republican, and I just do not see what any of you see in Donald Trump. He spends every day trying to divide this Country. The rest of the world must think we have lost our mind. The old saying "united we stand, divided we fall" describes Trump, and we are falling apart as a nation. Members of his cabinet have openly said he doesn't even take the time to read the briefings before coming to their meetings, but he sure finds time every weekend to play golf.

Don't want to be argumentative but the divisions started in the mid 90's and yes they were exacerbated during Obama, some his fault, some just cause the GOP resisted like hell and I'll not judge the main reason why. I'm republican, and look at all the crap he had to deal with(financial crisis, being called liar during SOTUnion speech). That reporter worked on the Obama Biden campaign.
The Atlantic owner is a Biden mega donor.
There are 10 people who were there that stated he never said that and wanted to go to the memorial, on the official record. One was never trumpet John Bolton.
The Navy records show communications that the trip had to be cancelled due to weather that prevented the helicopter from flying.
Trump has done more for veterans than any previous administration.
The left and media are trying a hard pivot away from the riots and destruction that is going on across the democratic cities landscape.

The Veteran's Choice Act was extended by Congress and signed by President Trump.

The Gateway Pundit is almost down there with Infowars for tinfoil-hat conspiracy. It's blown so many fact checks the IFCN guys' magic 8-ball pretty much just shudders and shakes its head every time a new "article" - I use that word guardedly - comes out. An "anonymous source" said that he said this. It seems very odd that within an hour of this story coming out, Biden had an ad on TV about it. As much as Trump supports the military, I find it hard to believe he said this. This is just one of many unsubstantiated to come out in the next few months. While I appreciate his service to our country, I also find it disgusting that he misled so many people about the details and used it for political gain.
I don’t think Trump should’ve made those comments, but McCain isn’t the war hero he portrayed himself to be. He’s a dirty politician who was a RINO.

My father was KIA and I call BS on this story. If I believed Trump felt or said anything close to this, he would be dead to me.
Instead, look at the facts that we do know: This Is mysteriously announced less than 60 days from the election. Somehow because of what he said about McCain automatically makes this true?
I choose to decide based on one’s actions. His actions show him to be one of the leading presidents that supports active and retired military personnel (pay raises, restructuring VA care, rebuilding military, bringing servicemen home, etc).
It’s fine to dislike or even hate Trump, but making up bs is ridiculous. It’s just as bad as the idiots claiming Michelle Obama was a man, or Questioning Obama’s birth certificate.

I was in Normandy visiting my Grandfather's loser sucker brother's grave 5 years ago in France. My Gpa was 16 when he lost his older brother. He still cried when we visited. My Gpa is 95 and just got moved to hospice. On his death bed he is sad about Trump.

Just like all the other anonymous claims out there, I would take this ‘news story’ with a grain of salt. Trump certainly sticks his foot in his mouth often enough, but based on his ACTIONS towards the veteran community, I find this claim highly unlikely to be accurate or more likely to be just another case of journalist activism. This Atlantic writer is a known Obama sycophant and in his own words, he had to ‘connect the dots’ to derive this quote.. shouldn’t have to ‘connect dots’ when direct quoting someone.

this BS story. Once again the media has fabricated something from "anonymous sources" in order to slander the President. To date not one of these anonymous sourced "scandalous" stories has ever panned out to be true.
At this point you are either an incurable TDS patient or just stupid if you believe the crap coming out of a leftist mega-donor run magazine who just happens to stumble upon this 2 years after the supposed incident. Putting that fact aside, the Atlantic failed in their journalistic duty and talk to others (i.e. Trump hating John Bolton, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Dan Scavino, retired LTG Keith Kellogg, and Jared Karem to name a few) who were also present and WOULD and HAVE gone on the record stating this incident never happened.
But no... that would have killed the Atlantic's biased narrative because on the record folks directly contradicting "anonymous sources" tend to have a lot more credibility. And to top it all off, guess who happens to be at a very rare Joe Biden pre-scripted press conference the very next morning after the story breaks? None other than an "Atlantic Reporter" who gets not only one of the few coveted press seats (usually reserved for main stream press and not a magazine) but also gets the first softball question of the day giving demented Joe Biden the opportunity to read his pre-scripted response of "disgust".
So no I'm not buying it... Anyone with half a brain cell that has the slightest bit of critical thinking skills can see exactly what this is - a disgusting, coordinated, false narrative ploy to trash President Trump during an election year.
