The Mountain West and NET Ratings - Joke

The mountain west must have figured out how to schedule to get a better NET. Either that or they are just incredibly lucky. With it being 2 years in a row now, i think they have figured it out. They mostly schedule mid major schools that qualify as quad 1 and 2 wins, and then schedule a bunch if really bad quad 4 teams. It could really blow up in their face if a few teams lose to quad 4 teams, but kudos to them, they have won those games.
I compared their top 6 teams with ACC's top 6 teams with quad 1 and 2 wins and losses. On paper, they look have the better top 6 teams, but if you look at the teams that they have actually played, it tells a different story. Their top 6 teams in their conference have a record of 20-12 vs quad 1 and 2 teams. The top 6 teams in the ACC have a 13-14 record vs quad 1 and 2 teams.
Here are the wins and losses against quad 1 and 2 the mountain west has:
Wins: St. mary's, gonzaga (nice), washington, uc san diego, uc irvine, akron, santa clara, san fransisco, creighton (nice), boston college, colorado, VCU, North Texas, TCU (nice)
Losses: BYU, Grand Canyon, St mary's, colorado, bradley, clemson, VT, Butler, Washington st, Drake
Here are the wins and losses against quad 1 and 2 the ACC has:
Wins: Tennessee, Oklahoma, Michigan St, Baylor, Alabama, TCU, Boise St, South Carolina, Florida, Boise St, Florida, Texas A&M
Losses: villanova, uconn, kentucky, Arizona, arkansas, memphis, georgia, lsu, utah, south carolina, florida atlantic, auburn, wisconsin, memphis.

Also, how in the hell is St Mary's ranked 23rd in NET. Mountain west teams love to schedule them.
They are 3-3 vs quad 1 with wins vs san fransisco, colorado state, and New mexico. Losses against san diego state, xavier, and utah
Q2 - 1-1. Loss to Boise St and win vs santa clara.
Q3 - 2 losses to Missouri st and Weber st.

Here's the thing, the morehead state loss sucked and it should #### you off. Someone who is a true fan wouldn't constantly bring it up in unrelated threads to try to troll someone who is actually a fan and simply talking basketball.
And you dont have a clue what my views are of brownell. If we dont make the tourney this year he should be fired. i would have been indifferent if he was fired last year. I worry about clemson and what our best intentions are. Unlike you, i dont hate brad, and im not not obsessed with him like you are. You have him in your avatar, and cant simply talk college basketball without trying to bash him. He is in your head and it's embarrassing.

Again, if you really rooted for our team, you wouldn'tconstantly bring up bad losses in threads that are unrelated.
You see, I could bring up that we got blown out by duke who had bunch of 2 and 3*s last year, or we lost to a crappy miami team with a back up qb but those losses sucked and i was incredibly frustrated by those losses. I also dont try to troll fellow fans by bringing up bad losses in every thread. Again, you are a joke, and our student athletes that play basketball for us also think you are a joke.

The NET is a joke. It was solely created because the B10 and SEC weren’t getting enough bids and whined that selection process was unfair. NET was created and voila the ACC is the conference getting screwed on bids. Keep in mind, that when the BIG and SEC were getting less bids they weren’t winning tourney games. They still aren’t even with a ridiculous increase in bids. Meanwhile the ACC wins in the tourney regardless of # bids. It’s obvious the NET is flawed but the NCAA doesn’t care because they are in bed with the networks and B10/SEC are $ to them. They try to set them up with more bids and better seeding. Those conferences still FAIL. Year after year.
