I don't think Lincoln Riley is overrated anymore. At the moment, his stock is right where it should be.
CFB has passed by Penn State and I think James Franklin gets too much flak. If you don't include the COVID years, he's done well for them. IMO, they are lucky their program hasn't hit rock bottom like Nebraska.
Regarding the Aggies, nobody really gives a care about them except their own fans. Unfortunately, they don't seem to realize this.

Some may call me crazy for my choice of an overrated program and head coach.
I am going to say Nick Saban. Without coaches and coordinators who have brought Saban into the current
offenses and if Saban had not been the Head Coach at LSU when LSU pretty much ran its self as a successful program then moving eventually to Bama who could IMO run it’s self with the guidance of coaches would be a winning program. Saban does not face the nearly the challenge's Dabo faces year to year in recruiting, money, facilities, and everything that was put in place at Bama years ago. I am not sure Bear Bryant could take that much credit.
I do not believe Saban could comes close to achieving the success tenure by Danny Ford in the 80’s. Or I doubt Saban could come close to duplicating what Dabo and his staff accomplished at Clemson. I don’t believe Saban could have landed many of the elite recruits Dabo brought into Clemson. Dabo and Co. Worked their butts off to bring in DW, TL so many great WR’s, TE’s, RB’s like ETN and that killer defense he and BV built year after year. Saban’s football culture would not work at Clemson.
Despite Saban having the advantage coaching at Bama verses Dabo at Clemson, I would have to give the edge to Dabo and Clemson. Plus we have the best fan base in college football. Dabo has IMO been about equal to the achievements of Saban.
I feel sure Dabo would know much sooner than 2months that one of his coaches had left the program for another Job. Saban is so detached from some of his staff that he did not know a coach had left 2 months earlier for another job. Saban found out when an assistant coach was sent to let the missing coach know there was a meeting going on. lol 😂😂
Dabo truly has built one big Family at Clemson. Go Tiger Nation. 🏆🏆🏆🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🤗🤗🤗
So if you consider all factors, Saban and Alabama are overrated. Let’s face it the only things to do in Alabama is to have one you coaches sleep with you daughter when she is not in a bar brawl, date you cousins, go snipe hunting and make homemade Spirits using your old Trans Am radiator or take your kids cow tipping.
