Best Is The Standard

The last sideline infraction

Jan 10, 2014, 1:24 PM

That gave them a 1st down on what would have been 4th down was egregious.

No doubt something was up at that point. It is ridiculous when the refs want to be a big part of game.

No More So

than the first two sideline infractions.

the best point made was probably this, imo...

if Shuey's "late hit/roughing" penalty was legit...why didn't they call it when they buried Tajh?

the officials didn't even know which direction to point or what to call half the time, & it did seem like they had someone on their shoulder or in their ear on several plays where they ALMOST threw a flag but didn't...just so happens those plays were never to Clemson's benefit or gain & the game was called totally lopsided.
big games should have big-time officials anyways, what a joke.

Glad We WON!!!
Go Tigers!

Very frustrating

Sitting in the stands the ref would come on and make an explanation for the foul and point towards OSU and all us tiger fans would cheer.

Then he'd turn the mic back on and on the same flag make another explanation and point towards Clemson. With no replay everyone was left half the time standing around asking what just happened.

Not to mention the refs meeting after a play was complete and then a flag coming out. Shoot, the players would be getting lined up for the next play and the refs were still throwing flags on the previous play. Ridiculous is an understatement. I just hope when we make it to the playoff in the future we can get a crew that lets the players play.

I thought the MNC game officials

Jan 10, 2014, 2:19 PM

did just that, let them play. If we had those guys, the tigers would have won by more than they did.

No, they let Auburn play. You did not watch the same game I did. There is a difference between letting teams play and calling a one side game.

1. Blatant PI early in the game that forced FSU to put.
2. Facemask not called.
3. Blantant horse collar on the last drive no call.
4. FSU player called for taunting when Mason spikes the ball and does the heisman pose.

Both ACC BCS games were really poorly officiated. BE effing consistent officials is all I ask.
