I think the Mafia, Cubans, and the CIA are all red herrings.
The industrial military complex? Whose profit was JFK directly threatening by pursuing world peace?

I do believe you are onto something with the military industrial complex wanting anyone at the top who advocates for world peace gone and I'm sure they would have pushed for it but as far as hatching the plan, coordinating the logistics and carrying it out, definitely the CIA

As a member of the military myself, we have one job. To be the most lethal fighting force in the world so no one wants to mess with us. You can not be peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you are not capable of violence, you are not peaceful, you are harmless. But that said, we must hold our elected leaders accountable who are capable of sending our military in harms way.
