Feds are great for building standing armies, bad for functioning like a well-run organization. And they're horrible -- HORRIBLE -- at disaster response.
Some will get quick, small FEMA disaster checks to pay for the meat they lost in the freezer and things like that. But believe me, FEMA will deny many others' claims by the thousands for petty little bureaucratic reasons, like the name on your social security card doesn't match the name on your wife's brother's uncle's 2017 form 1040.
They will bring in FEMA trailers -- which will sit for *months* unused because FEMA makes it almost impossible to get one of them.
