This is about creating the illusion of meaningful spending cuts to rationalize a huge debt exploding tax cut for corporations and wealthy individuals.

Speed matters in solving crimes.

Remember how the FBI’s purposeful dawdling gave Hillary enough time to thoroughly wipe her private server of evidence about her illegal possession of classified documents?

By dawdling for ~ 2 weeks, the FBI gave her time to destroy the 3vidence.

He’s making a parody of the innumerable ‘petty’ wasteful examples by the Administrative State on special interest projects.

That the ‘wasters’ get so worked up about a trivial few hundred thousands of dollars shouldn’t surprise anyone. If each instance of such modest amounts of waste can be traced / spread about to a few dozen individuals, then the ‘wasters’ may be facing a RICO charge (criminal conspiracy).

Believe it or not, a criminal doesn’t have to be caught stealing $50,000 to be imprisoned for a crime.

^^^^ this ^^^^^ is why they are so worked up, and why the supporters of these thefts of government assets are so disingenuous about downplaying the DOGE examples.

Maybe some in the Defense Department, too.

Most of Elon's work isn't really about spending cuts. It's about breaking up the supposed "Deep State", i.e., the Civil Service. You break up the Civil Service, and install Trump loyalists, and impound funds, which destroys Congress' power of the purse. This is the goal, not spending cuts. Elon is a servant in the Unitary Executive theory, as laid out in Project 2025.

Americans were warned. They voted for it. They're gonna get it.

Why do the supporters of these traditional thefts by Administrative State entities want to see the criminals get away with it?

Do they not understand that most habitual thieves get caught when one of their crimes gets exposed, and that only upon further investigation are that criminals’ additional crimes revealed?

From the passion which the DOGE haters (i.e., those in the general public) attempt to dismiss DOGE’s discoveries as trivial … the implication being that the searches for wasteful expenditures are superfluous … one would deduce that the complainers are somehow getting a job related benefit from that waste being allowed to continue unabated.

In other words, a lot of the DOGE complainers are benefitting in some way from the thievery.

If you disagree with his methods, then clearly you're part of the crime, right?

What if some people are observing the situation from afar and don't agree with the logic or the ROI of the decision-making? Or what if DOGE's efforts present serious ethical conflicts, where those observers do not feel the gains outweigh the risks?

Are you so devoted to Trump that you now see anyone who disagrees with him as a criminal or the direct beneficiary of criminal activity?

Here's another scenario for you:
A hardware store keeps getting robbed. Trump comes in and says "burn down the store, then it can't get robbed anymore." A passerby sees this and says, "Hey that's not right!" .... And RemembertheDanny comes running in to say, "I've deduced that the concerned passerby is clearly getting payoffs from the robbers!"
