1 Year Countdown Begins.

A week ago every Dabo-gob-slobbin’ fan swore allegiance to mediocrity….and now it appears that the 1.5% of disgruntled fans is increasing.

With last nights dog and pony show out of the way, perhaps it’s time to take into account what “probably” needs to be done before next season:

1. Dismissal of Coaches Grisham, Austin, Richardson.
2. Spiller is given one year to improve upon additional RB prospects.
3. Immediately begin prepping Vizzina for next-up/QB1
4. Prepare for CK to hit the portal, advance all metrics on potential portal QB’s.
5. Prepare for Collins to graduate and for Randall to transfer. Full focus, moving forward on Brown, Stellato and Williams.
6. Go to Riley for aid with recruiting ALL replacement offensive coaching needs. You never know…..he could one day be DS’s replacement.
7. Retain Jeff Scott’s services in some form or fashion.
8. Utilize portal for immediate relief at all online positions.

If Dabo has any fire left up hisass, he’s making calls to start the process of replacing multiple offensive coaching positions for next season. If he’s not, then we’re riding the dabo train back into mediocrity.

I think I agree with almost all of this.

1. Agreed.

2. I don't think our running backs are the problem outside of the baffling fumbles. CJ deserves more leeway. I would bench Shipley's ### and put Mafah in to get him ready to start next year.

3. Vizzina was terrible in high school in a weak league. Go look at his stats. I don't buy it. Cade has the talent we need. He just needs to stop staring down receivers and he needs more talent than he has. If he had the talent Trevor or Deshaun had around him, we'd be undefeated. He just doesn't have a single offensive player who would crack the 2 deep on the 2018 team.

4. I don't mind looking at the portal for QB if there were someone clearly better than Cade. I would look there for offensive line and receiver and think about who we might be able to poach.

5. Agreed.

6. Agreed. It is laughable our offensive coordinator wasn't able to hire his own staff.

7. Agreed. Hire him as a recruiting coordinator. Make him WR coach if Riley is okay with it.

8. Agreed.

9. Adding one, ban Dabo from playcalling on offense.

I'd also say Dabo's seat should be warming. I'd give him 2-3 seasons to get the team back on track. If he doesn't do those though, he's out.
