Thought he might take advantage of the covid year and the NIL he gets. If he is a 4th rd or later pick, he would do better at CLEMSON. I was hoping!!

He played 4 seasons that weren't 2020 (2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024), so his eligibility will end after this season.

Gonna miss him no doubt about it.
It really brings into focus the urgency of finding our backup. So far , there isn't any separation.
It may well be EZ and Davidson next year with Davidson taking that spot by midyear

His eligibility is toast. Covid allowed 6th year to play four. Mafah played his four.

The covid exception also ignored 2020 altogether. So, even if you played in 2020, you still have 4 more years of eligibility.
As others have stated, though, Mafah didn't play 2020 so he's bound by standard eligibility rules.

Why should we even have eligibility? Seems like everything else is a free for all now a days in College Football
