ion of the VT vs GT game because of lightning.
Lightning then hit his rental car and lit it up.
The next week he is on air saying to the affect that "if you ever see me doing a weather report, change the channel immediately and find someone who know what they are talking about!"

Lee's failing health is hard to watch

Corso was very entertaining in his day but it's hard to watch old people with failing memory and speech continue when they should retire.
Corso has been declining for sometime and it's time to move on.

I could not agree more. I don't harbor any ill will against Corso but his time has past. Its like watching #### Clark being propped up on the NYE show. Just sad...

True. Corso was amazing in his prime - like him or not - his humor and shtick and comradeship with Herbie was fun and entertaining.
Now Corso’s less fit - his on-air time now is very comparable to a presidential press conference.

effects of the stroke making it difficult to get the thoughts out. I think his mind is clear. It is the mechanics. I am 82 and have seen a lot of my peers have the same problem.

If he were calling games or something then I'd agree. However, I think they use him in the perfect way and he still adds entertainment. People hate on the headgear picks but it's usually one of the top talked about things each Gameday. I know people who never watch Gameday but turn it on with a few minutes left just to see his pick.

I agree. They are giving an institution his due. He isn't great because he talks fast or can do handstands. He is great because he is Corso. It is refreshing to see that love, respect and comradery on TV. I need that.

I’d like him to be able to go out on his own terms… if he’s comfortable with his impediments then i am. Obviously if he were calling games where such would detract from the experience, it would be different… but I kinda like his continued Schtick, even if it’s been compromised a bit. Really like the guy and glad he’s still pursuing what he seems to enjoy

Good for him. He should be allowed to work as long as he wants. We have enough lazy people that don't want to a darn thing.
I don't get the want in Western culture to put people out to pasture after they reach a certain age. It's very different in other parts of the world where getting older is a badge of honor and they are shown much respect. The way it should be here.

I like him too. Realize the dynamic with Herb and the others. They take care of him and it's touching. Everybody knows he had a stroke. With Herb and the others helping him out he is still funny in insightful.

Well, if that stammering idiot Biden can be POTUS, then sure, Corsica can be on Gameday??

Turning a sports commentator conversation into an opportunity to insult the POTUS, because your preferred candidate lost the election, is childish.

In other words, DRRRHERE voted for biden and your making him uncomfortable.
But I’m glad Lee is coming back. It’s one of the few remaining things on that show that’s entertaining, and considering he’ll probably get replaced with Maria Taylor or Megan Rapinoe, it’s definitely worth the effort trying to decipher what Lee says
