that we should hire Paul Johnson and kick Tommy to the curb. That didn't happen, and we got stuck with a $4 million buyout. Then when Paul Johnson was hired at Tech, I said that he would win the ACC before Tommy. That happened. Then we fired Tommy mid-season and had to pay the huge buyout.
So, I was right.
Had Paul Johnson come here, with our recruiting ability, our great tradition and school, and the stud Runningbacks we had at the time, we would be dominant.
But that didn't happen and it won't happen. Clemson fans are apparently comfortable in mediocrity, so long as we have a flashy player or two, and an "entertaining" offense.
