Is still Notre Dame. If the B1G and/or SEC takes us, FSU, UNC, and UVa or Miami, I can't see Notre Dame staying in a dying ACC. Even though all of this realignment is football driven, and ND isn't an ACC football member, this affects all sports of which they are a member. ND is a full voting ACC member and would probably join the teams wanting to dissolve. The big question is would ND go back to a full independent football schedule, ie no 5 games with listless remaining ACC teams, and put there other sports back in something like the Big East, or will they make the move to the B1G. That would be the game changer. B1G TV $ would soar. The B1G has already taken 2 of ND's big rivals, USC football and UCLA basketball. The B1G, wanting ND, may look at the other rival, Stanford, as another lure for ND. Stanford also brings championship quality in about every sport except football and mens basketball. So I wonder.....

Notre dame wants to be independent in football. Will go to big 10 if only backed into a corner.

ND loves independence… they will never join a conference unless they get #### out from qualifying for the playoff.

ND’s hockey program is in the Big10. I suspect they would look to move everything but football to the Big10.
